She is survived by: her children, Alvin Payne, Jr. (Belinda) of Dickinson, TX, Noah Payne (Karlene), Gwendolyn Denise Leonardo of Houston, TX, Ellen Pauline Weaver of Charlotte, NC, Brenda Jacqueline of New Castle, DE, Albert Payne (Lorraine) and Alphonso Payne (Yvette); her siblings, John Edward Gordy, Sr. (Minnie), Martha Evelyn Coxen of Chester, Anita L. Gordy and Irene C. Gordy; and her sisters-in-law, Ollie Grimsley and Valerie Green. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren and 1 great-great children.
