Samuel Wagner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Wagner of Chester, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Groome Toland Wagner and Samuel Wagner III. He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Wagner V, Thomas Willard Wagner and Michael Connelly Wagner; his daughters-in-law, Kristin and Carrissa; his grandchildren, Jackson, Charlotte (Hannah), Spencer Lee, Ellowyn, Gabriel, Morgan and Maddox; and also, Mary Ann, Samuel V, Thomas and Michael. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sam's memory to the Westtown School Class of '57 Peter O. Lane Scholarship Fund and/or the Class of '58 Fund for Faculty Enrichment and/or The Fund for Women and Girls of Chester County and/or The Chester County Hospital Foundation – with recognition to the Cardiac Care Ward and the Hospice Team, and/or Kendall-Crosslands Employee Appreciation Fund – with recognition for the team in Firbank Central.
