He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bailey and Louise Bailey (Rogers); his daughter Dana Bailey; and his siblings, Richard "Dick", John "Jack" Bailey, Jennie Lee Husted and Cathy Wayne.

He is survived by: his children, Leslie Watson (Scott) of Philipsburg, Tracy Bailey of Philipsburg and Scott Bailey (Michelle) of Philipsburg; his grandchildren, Samantha Bailey, Aaron Bailey, Nicole Heinlein (Dan) and Ryan Watson (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Cadence, Luke, Levi, Jane, Nelle and Nora; and his siblings, Mary McClosky (Tom) of Pleasant Gap, Roger Bailey (Betty) of Centre Hall and Mike Bailey (Janet) of Murfreesboro, Tenn..
