She was predeceased by: her grandson Edward; her husband Linza Lewis; her parents, Edward Watson and Sallie Watson; her siblings, Edward Watson (Marlene), Norman Watson (Marie), Albert Watson, Sr. and Gladys Short (Thomas); her siblings-in-law, Johnny Lewis (Maggie), Marion Lewis, Ezelle Lewis (Lillie), James Lewis (Easter), Robert "Ned" Johnson (Mabel) and Elizabeth Fluellen (John); and her grandson Shan D. Blackwell.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Sallie Watson; her children, Linza L. Lewis (Kim) of Wilmington, DE and Carolyn L. Whitaker (Chris) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Linza L. Lewis Jr., Nyle E. Lewis and Camille L. Whitaker; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Watson and Mercedes Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
