He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James W. and Brenna Mae Sommers Maitland; his close friend Steven Edwards; his wife Eleanor "Sam" Maitland; his sons, James Maitland (Jennifer), Michael Maitland (Jennifer) and Kevin Maitland (Linda); his stepdaughter Stephanie Bauer (Richard); his grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Andrew, Ciara, Jason, Jasmine, Darian and Kristie; and his great grandchildren, Marilyn and John.
