With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Isolde Pohl in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopold Moos and Berta Jost; her husband Hanns Pohl; her daughter Claudia; and her brother Leopold.

She is survived by: her son Christoph Pohl; her grandchildren, Marcus, Erik and Madison; her children-in-law, Christine and Timothy; and her nieces and nephews, Claudia, Ulrike, Silke, Gunther, Peter and Christian.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Isolde's honor can be made to The Messiah Lutheran Church – Reconstruction Fund, Downingtown, PA.

“I feel it was a privilege to be a caregiver to Isolde. We had good times together, whether it be taking country rides, going to Amish greenhouses, shopping at Exton mall, cooking, baking, sharing my pictures, especially of Chincoteague(she loved that name),bird watching on her deck, decorating the Christmas tree(every ornament had to be hung just right)I appreciate all the stories of her life she shared with me. I will miss Isolde, I have wonderful memories and will never forget, God Bless her”

“Knowing Isolde over this past year and a half as one of her care givers has been such a pleasure for me. I looked forward to our time eating together, chats about her life and family, whom she was so proud of, and sitting among her immaculate plants on the deck. Isolde was full of humor and hospitality and I will cherish the memories. I am greatly disappointed I won't be able to attend her service. You are in my prayers during this time of grieving.
