He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Dougherty and Mary Ann Dougherty (Garrett); his son Danny; his siblings, Eleanor, Denis and John; his son-in-law Mickey Derro; and his granddaughter Emma Hurley.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Dougherty; his daughters, Carrie Derro, Mary Beth German, Brenda Evans (Mitch) and Colleen Hurley (Sean); and his sisters, Margaret and Rose Ann. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
