He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wengel and Antonina Wengel. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Wengiel (Bierdzio); his son David E. Wengiel (Kate) of Denver, PA; his sister-in-law Rose Marie Bierdzio of Pottstown, PA; his grandson Edward Daniel Wengiel II; and his sister Irene Kozlowski (Ted).
