She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Ollie Ruth Purvis Bailey; her siblings, Elaine Purvis and Pate Purvis, Jr.; her parents, Pate Purvis and Verna L. Purvis; her son Ricardo Grasty (Ricky); her adoptive daughters, Aisha Grasty and Desi Barksdale; her siblings, Ronald Purvis and Cynthia Purvis; her grandson Taylor A. Grasty; her godson Vincent Starkey Purvis; and her close friend Dawn Green. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
