She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Mary; her husband Kevin; her parents, Joseph Gibbs and Mary Gibbs; and her cousin Pamela Smith.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joseph Gibbs and Ra'Kai Womack-Gibbs; her siblings, Arayna Mitchell, Anita Brown, Victoria Freeman Roslyn Gibbs (Teddy, Sr.), Shannon Gibbs, Joseph (Gwen) and Alan Gibbs; her godchildren, Michael Selby, Dai'Shona Jones and Tyler Pettiford; her niece Ranae Gibbs; her great-nephew Asaad "Buddy" Gibbs; her close friend Barry Sharp; and her friend Teresa Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and extended family.
