He is survived by: his close friend Frankie Jones; his daughters, Delores Brown-Gilliam (Robert) of Garland and April Hardin-Brown (Ray) of Claymont, Delaware.; his grandsons, Demetrius Brown, Sr. and Shawn Brown; his great grandchildren, Demetrius Brown, Jr. (Shavonne), Brianna Brown (Travis) and DeAnte'Brown; his great great grandchildren, Liam Brown and Demetrius Brown III (Meechie); his grandchildren, Latarshia Jones, Samuel Jones, Charles Jones, Kamil Warren, Christian Womack and Tashiana Womack; his siblings, Tommy Woods, Lonnie Hardin, Ned Whitehead, Alphonso Frieson, Donna Jean Ely and Shirley Drayton; and his nephews, Chico Whitehead and Stanley Whitehead. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
