He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman B. Cross and Grace Kennedy Cross; his daughter Melissa; his granddaughter Melissa Jones; and his siblings, Herman Cross and Diane Liard.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Cook Cross; his children, Susan Cross Harris (Michael), Shari Cross Anthony, Barry Cross Jr. (Janelle), David Cross (Shawndra) and Daniel Cross Sr. (Jamie); his siblings, Joyce Patrick, Theresa Bailey and Wayne Cross; his grandchildren, Lindsay "Grasshopper" Jones, Barry Cross III, Timothy Jones, Amanda Smith, Kristopher Anthony, Angela Penney, Kimberly Harris, Victoria Sockriter, Alicia Cross, Clarissa Harris, Abigail Cross, Daniel Cross Jr., Benjamin Cross, Ashley Cross, Brenden Smith and Kaiden Smith; and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Kaden, Lincoln, Tommy, Paisley and Henry.
