He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Byrd-Taggart and John Henry "Jack" Taggart III; and his sister Geraldine Taggert. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Taggart of Chester, PA and Christina Taggart of Malvern, PA; his grandsons, Lamont Truell of Chester Township, PA and Robert Johnson of Chester, PA.; his wife Bernadine Taggart; his children, Lamont Truell, Devon Truell, Shakira Truell, Edwin Carrington and LaNya Carrington; and his siblings, John "Ricky" Taggart of Odessa and Linda Taggart-Hatfield of Chester Township. He is also survived by grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, in-laws and many close friends.
