Eleanor Marie Grabowski Obituary

The memory of Eleanor Marie Grabowski of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Riego and Mary Matvija Riego; and her siblings, Ruth, Marion, Barbara and John.

She is survived by: her children, Edward Michael Grabowski (Diane), Jane Gillan (Ernie) and Suzanne Grabowski; and her grandchildren, Tonya, Laura, Lisa, Cole, Tim and Julie.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. (410 N Church St, West Chester, PA 19380). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the All Souls Cemetery (3215 Manor Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320).

There were days she didn’t want to get out of bed, but she gladly pulled herself up for the eye drops and a little conversation, I always made her laugh. You know she was particular, tough and private. Ellie was very proud of her family. She is indelible and someone I want to be more like. I am sorry for your loss but she had a filled life and free of suffering; we will see/feel ag”
