He is survived by: his brothers, John Ellis and Sam Ellis; his wife Gloriann Ellis (Johnson); his children, Ronald J. Ellis, Jr. (Sasha), Rollin Ellis (Katie) and Ginamarie Ellis (Thayer); his brother Eugene Ellis (Betty); and his grandsons, Jackson, James and Charles Rollin.
