He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Earl and Mary Leamer (Wilson); and his siblings, Earl Jr., Alvin, Harry Leamer, Jean Schirff, Isabel Deyarmin and Carol Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Carlene Leamer (Pearce); his sons, Richard Leamer of Seymour, IN, Jason Leamer and Matthew Leamer of Mitchell, IN.; and his siblings, Ray Leamer of Lexington, IN and Lois Misner.
