He is survived by: his children, Wendy Whitfield of Speers and Robert Whitfield of Waxhaw, NC; his grandchildren, Danielle Tiernan (Steve) and Jessie Lynn Whitfield (Josh Evans); his great grandchild Bailee Jo Tiernan; and his sister Rosalie Kochenbach of Mt. Lebanon.
