He was predeceased by: his father Richard G. McKita; and his brother Jason McKita. He is survived by: his mother Gay Lynne Edwards McKita of Charleroi; his wife Mishelle McKita; his children, Dominic and Kelsey; his brother Richard M. McKita of Charleroi; and his nephews, Richard J. McKita and Chase McKita.
