She was predeceased by: her parents, David Bruce and Elizabeth Bruce (Bendel); her husband John "Jack" Williams; her siblings, Alice Sitar (Mike), Mary Tautkus (Paul), Elizabeth "Betty" Sloboda (Tom), James Bruce and David Bruce (Betty); and her grandson Terry Polcawich.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Whiten (Bobby) and Karen Polcawich (Terry); her grandsons, Ian Whiten (Lauren), Tyler Polcawich and Brian Polcawich (Nikki); and her sister-in-law Dolores Bruce. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hogan-Melenyzer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (226 Fallowfield Ave, Charleroi, PA 15022). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Monongahela Cemetery (800 Country Club Rd, Monongahela, PA 15063).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Dorothy's memory to the Washington Area Humane Society 1527 PA-136, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
