He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Lennartz and Mary Lennartz (Weitzel); his wife C. Jean Lennartz (Bargo); his grandson Ryan Mills; and his siblings, Gertrude Arnone, Florence Knepp, Marie Kauffman, Agnes Evans, Teresa Witzel, Frank, Charlie and John Lennartz.
He is survived by: his children, William J. Lennartz Jr. (Barb Rider) of Chambersburg, Mary E. Hornbaker (Terry) of Chambersburg and Deborah J. Kissel (Michael) of Chambersburg; and his sisters, Eva Roddy of Mount Union, PA and Louise Hughes of Lewistown, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (320 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201). A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Corpus Christi Catholic Church at the above address.
