It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Byers of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Knepper and Edna Diehl Knepper; her children, Douglas Byers and Cynthia Kipe; and her brothers, Charles and Carl Knepper.
She is survived by: her husband H. Preston Byers; her sons, Preston Byers (Tina) of Harrisburg, Keith Byers (Charette) of Waynesboro and Troy Byers (Karen Kennerly) of Alexandria, VA; and her grandchildren, Travis Byers, Megan Byers, Jonathan Byers (Diana) and Heidi Carr (Alec).
