We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2024, at the age of 81, Ronald S. McElwee in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald S. McElwee to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McElwee and Mary McElwee (Smethers); his siblings, Richard, Mary Louise Hartman and Patricia Russo; and his grandson Jacob Pulaski.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Brown of Chambersburg, PA; his children, Brenda Pulaski (Joseph) of Harrisburg, PA and Rev. David McElwee (Samantha) of Clearfield, PA; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Nathan Pulaski, Abigail and Andrew McElwee. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Chambersburg, or the Student Retention Fund at Lycoming College.
