He was predeceased by: his parents, James Umbrell and Orleana Umbrell (Taylor); and his brother Roger Umbrell. He is survived by: his wife Ellen D. Umbrell (Morton); his children, Bobbie-Jo E. Umbrell and David J. Umbrell; his grandchildren, Ethan R. Umbrell and Emily E. Umbrell; and his siblings, Glenn Umbrell, Nancy Simpson and Sally Ehman.
