As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella Virginia Shatzley and Charles of Alberti's Carbaugh. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Carbaugh (Katherine); his stepdaughter Deonna Carmack; his grandchild Shayla Appleby; and his great grandchildren, Ashton, Walker and Gavin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home (725 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert's name may be made to St. Jude's or the Wounded Warrior Project.
