He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle W. Hershey and Josephine A. Hershey (Holtry); and his sisters, Doris Markelwitz, A. Ruth Gutshall, Mildred Hockenberry and Betty Hershey.
He is survived by: his wife Donna K. Hershey (Sprenkle); his children, Melissa Wetzel (Ben), Keith Hershey (Amy) and Cassandra Houpt (Jerry); his stepson Paul Smith (Kim); and his siblings, William Hershey (Judy), Gerald Hershey (Phyllis), Edgar Hershey, Thomas Hershey, Geraldine Shipp (Robert), Linda Hockenberry (Norman) and Peggy Clouse. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
