We bid farewell to Preston Byers of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Preston touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enos E. Byers and Mable M. Byers; and his children, Cynthia Ann Kipe and Douglas Charles Byers. He is survived by: his sons, Preston L. Byers of Harrisburg, PA, Keith A. Byers (Charette) of Waynesboro, PA and Troy D. Byers (Karen Kennerly) of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Travis Byers, Megan Byers, Jonathan Byers (Diana) and Heidi Carr (Alec); and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Rose, Sean Preston and Jackson Wyatt.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
