He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur F. Kendig and Anna A. Martin Kendig; his wife Dorothy M. Weaver; and his siblings, Russell J. Kendig, Arthur G. Kendig and Mary Jane Jost.
He is survived by: his children, Marie M. Mummert (Ray) of Shippensburg, Sandra J. Hockenberry (Robert) of Orrstown, Connie E. Caudill (Donald) of Orrstown and Kevin P. Kendig (Wendy) of York Springs; and his siblings, Roy E. Kendig (Jane) of Upper Strasburg and Betty Mummert of Chambersburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
