It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathan Horst of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Clear Spring, Maryland, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Horst and Florence Eby Horst; his siblings, Amanda, Florence, Anna, Lula, Naomi, Reuben, Enos and Abram; and his son-in-law Edgar Meyers.
He is survived by: his wife Savilla Musselman Horst; and his children, William Horst (Nancy) of Chambersburg, Gary Horst of Chambersburg, Darlene McCurdy (Donald) of Shippensburg, Donald Horst of Chambersburg, Donna Meyers of St. Thomas and Charles Horst (Jackie) of Chambersburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
