He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Cordell and Mazie Clever Cordell; his wife Beulah Cordell; and his siblings, Helen Horst (Leroy), Glenn Cordell (Mary), Walter Cordell (Winnie), Irvin Cordell (Margaret), Wilbur Cordell (Janet), Wayne Cordell and Daniel Cordell (Frances).
He is survived by: his children, Doris E. Lehman of Hagerstown, MD, Ruby Gontz (Delbert) of Chambersburg, PA., David Cordell (Patricia) of Chambersburg, PA. and Richard Cordell (Sandra) of Chambersburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Nicole Muther (Erik), Jared Gontz, Jenny Gontz, Tara Castellar (Jesse) and Ashlea Lowe (Gregory); his great grandchildren, Simon, Tobias Muther, Brycen, Sophia, Camilla Castellar, Xavier and Alijah Lowe; and his sisters-in-law, Lily Cordell, Elsie Shank and Miriam Timmons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Marion Mennonite Church.
