It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Bower of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Crawford and Ruth Statler Crawford; her husband James E. "Jay" Bower; and her grandson John Kindall. She is survived by: her daughters, Trudy Hose (Dennis) of Carlisle and Becky Mull (Samuel) of Chambersburg; her grandchildren, Maggie Livelsberger (Eric) of Newville and Sean Kindall (Chelsea) of Shippensburg; her stepgrandchildren, Dustin Mull (Megan) of Fayetteville and Kirsten Parr of Shippensburg; her great grandchildren, Brooks, Lucille, Azlin and Brileigh; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Riley, Adilyn, Garrett, Paizley and Kipten.
