He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Levitt and Benjamin Levitt; his wife Shirley E Gelb; and his brother Jules. He is survived by: his daughters, Meg Lizbeth Levitt of Philadelphia, Polly Willa Gorrell (John) of Chambersburg and Jennifer Ann Levitt of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Dr. Christopher Gorrell (Samantha Gorrell) of Hatboro and Lauren Gorrell of Chambersburg; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Eva and Jacob of Hatboro.

At his request, there is no funeral or memorial, neither flowers or donations.
