Martha Ellen Hunsecker Obituary
The memory of Martha Ellen Hunsecker (Chambersburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Shank and Mattie Carpenter Shank; her siblings, Chester Shank (Mary Emma Shank) and Merle Shank; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Hunsecker (Alice Hunsecker), Wilmer Hunsecker (Dorothy Hunsecker), Mervin Hunsecker and Richard Hunsecker.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Edwin Hunsecker; her children, Marcia Settle (Bob Settle) of Manassas, VA., Evelyn Kovach (Jed Kovach) of Montrose, CO., Elaine Dunaway (Tom Dunaway) of Harrisonburg, VA., Roberta Mae Trimble (Jack Kline) of Takoma Park, MD. and Charles Hunsecker (Susan Hunsecker) of Huntsville, AL.; and her sisters-in-law, Louise Hunsecker and Elsie Shank. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Marion Mennonite Church (4365 Molly Pitcher Hwy, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Adjoining Church Cemetery.
