She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wenger and Ruth L. Wenger (Heisey); her son Gary Byers; and her sister Brenda Frey. She is survived by: her husband Ethelbert Byers; her children, Jeffrey Byers and Judith Benner (Daniel); her daughters-in-law, Mary Byers and Jaqueline Newell (Gary); and her brother-in-law Donald Frey (Rose). She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
