She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther J. Stinson and Ruth Stinson (Miller); her husband George W. Defenderfer; and her siblings, Jean Myers, Arlene Hawbaker, Mary Alice Poe, Eldon Stinson, Dale Stinson and Edward Stinson.
She is survived by: her children, Brigid R. Martin (Ed) of Mercersburg and Gregory W. Defenderfer (Debra) of Carlisle; her grandsons, Jeremy (Elizabeth Martin), Josh (Leah Martin), Andrew Defenderfer (Rachel) and Tyler Defenderfer; and her sister Bonnie Miller of Chambersburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
