He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Hargadon, Sr. and Elizabeth "Betty" Cratty (Berry); his wife Barbara Hargadon (Menocal); his daughter Lisa Stewart; and his siblings, E. William Hargadon and Kay Hargadon.
He is survived by: his son Trevor T. Stewart (Ginger) of Blacksburg, VA; his grandson Paul T. Stewart; his sister Amy Palmer; and his nephews, Briggs, Gregory and David Palmer.
