The passing of John Kitting of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, David C. Kitting and Esther "Mim" Kitting (Garman); his former wife MaryBeth Kitting (Cubbison); and his siblings, Peggy Silks and Richard "Dick" Kitting.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Kitting (Goldberg); his daughters, Amy Whitworth (Mark) of Marysville, PA, Shelly Fulton (Todd) of Enola, PA, Steph Kitting (Nick Canfield) of Newport, PA and Toni Sprague (Frank) of Manchester, PA; and his siblings, Dave Kitting, Joan Ort, Pat Evans and Liza Putsavage. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mifflintown Presbyterian Cemetery.
