He was predeceased by: his parents, Laban Horst and Miriam Horst (Diller); and his son Arlin. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Amos (Audrey) of Breezewood, PA, Aldine, Louise, Lena, Lynette, Lisa and Lucy; and his siblings, Nelson, Nevin, Nathan, Jason, Jacob, Rose Horst, Lois Showalter, Susan Martin, Leah Williams, Pearl Martin, Vera Hostetter and Grace Martin.
