We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024, at the age of 85, John Andrew Benfield Sr. of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Benfield and Suma Lida-Jane Benfield (Teague); his siblings, Barbara Holland, S. Anne Jarrett and William L. Benfield; his daughter Rhonda Boyer; and his grandson John "Drew" Andrew Benfield III.
He is survived by: his wife Christine M. Benfield (Taylor); his children, Angela L. Benfield and John A. Benfield Jr. (Heather); his grandchildren, Rory E. Oatman II, Kayla R. Oatman, Dakoda Coy, Kendall M. G. Benfield and Colin M. Sepulveda; his great grandchildren, Liam M. Oatman and McKinley E. Oatman; and his brother Larry S. Benfield (Patricia).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Kelso Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. (725 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
