With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johanna Maria Spierenburg of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermanus Verdel and Johanna Koek Verdel; and her husband Gysbertus C. Spierenburg (Bart). She is survived by: her sons, John Spierenburg (Diana) of Chambersburg, Ronald Spierenburg (Shannon) of Bowie, MD and Patrick Spierenburg of Edgewater, MD; her grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, Sarah, Melanie and Amber; and her sister Corrie Albers of Australia. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
