It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cordell Sr. (Chambersburg, Pennsylvania), born in Everett, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 3, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Evelyn; and his siblings, Dixie Dunkle and Betty Jo Cordell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Grove Cordell; and his children, James Cordell Jr. (Angela) of Sterling, George Mellott Jr. (Lisa) of Martinsburg, Jonathan Cordell (Kristi McConnell) of Seminole, Angel Upperman of Savannah, Carrie Dietrich (Brad) of Chambersburg, Crystal North of Chambersburg and Christen Cordell of Chambersburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to The Salvation Army.
