He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Umbrell and Iva Peg Umbrell (Miller); and his sisters, JoAnn Small and Peggy Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Diana Umbrell of Chambersburg, PA; his children, Troy Umbrell (Judy) of Chambersburg, PA, Tammy Umbrell (Eric Kauffman) of Chambersburg, PA and Tiffani Umbrell of Mt. Holly, PA; his stepson Ben Gumont (Andrea) of Warren, OH; and his grandchildren, Colton Umbrell, Jessica Umbrell, Tyler Appleby, Trevor Appleby, Colby Perry, Tucker Woodring, Kye Taylor, Allie Gumont and Emma Gumont. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). The military honors will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Parklawns Memorial Gardens (3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17202).
