He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter K. Horst and A. Harriette Bikle Horst; and his brother Philip R. Horst. He is survived by: his wife Frances E. "Fran" Justice Horst; his children, Justin "Gus" Horst of Shippensburg, Becky Horst Bedell (Mike) of Sharpsburg, GA and Bradford Horst (Kourtney) of Chambersburg; his grandchildren, Palmer, Michaela and Hayden Horst; and his siblings, Robert B. Horst (Linda) of Ocean Pines, MD, Mathilda Horst of Florida and Maryann Naugle (Mike) of Fayetteville.
