He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander Keith and Minnie Pearsall Hawkesworth; his wife Cleone A. Martin Hawkesworth; his children, Keith M. Hawkesworth (Susan) of The Villages, FL, Kimberly H. Spittler (John) of Chambersburg, PA, Joellen H. Lugin (Nick) of Westerville, OH and Susan B. Hawkesworth (Gary Gettel) of Chambersburg, PA; and his grandchildren, Kristen Spittler (Daniel Crowley), Jennifer Varner (Matthew), Matthew Spittler (Amy), Natalie Bixler (Joshua), Kara Hawkesworth (Nick Sallack), Caroline Robson (Paul), Kendra Fortin (Chris), Lauren Jefferson (Justin), Joshua Hawkesworth and Jacob Hawkesworth.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 230 Siloam Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
