It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Strine Bernecker of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Davis and Mae Sword Davis; her former husband Rodney Strine; her husband David Bernecker; and her siblings, Garnet Davis, John Henry Davis and Mable Alleman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cinda Gift of Chambersburg and Janet Strine of Chambersburg; her stepchildren, Dana Bernecker, Gerald Bernecker and Ruth Fuller; her granddaughter Melinda Leidig (Josh); her great grandchild Weston Leidig; her sister Helen Thomas; and her pet Rosebud. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren.
