He was predeceased by: his parents, John Trego and Helen Shadle Lininger. He is survived by: his wife Connie Elizabeth Dehart Lininger; his children, Michele Elizabeth Miller (Nicklas) of Chambersburg and Jason Eugene Lininger of Chambersburg; and his grandchildren, Chelsea and Colby Miller.
