He was predeceased by: his father Clyde W. Shearer, Jr.; his brother Clyde W. "Bud" Shearer, III; and his nephew Troy Vasburg. He is survived by: his mother Connie L. Shearer (Miner); his children, Bobbie Jo Shearer (Quinton) of Waynesboro and Christopher C. Shearer (Teri) of Chambersburg; his grandchildren, Breanna Farrelly, Aiden Shearer and Annika Shearer; his child Beverly Younker; and his siblings, Sue Wise of Gettysburg, PA, Jean Coffey of St. Thomas, PA, Barbara Sanders of Fayetteville, Vincent "Ed" Shearer of Waynesboro and Michael L. Shearer of Waynesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
