He was predeceased by: his father Stephen J. Pettner, Sr.; his brother James H. Pettner, Sr.; and his nephew James H. Pettner, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Pettner of State Line, PA; his wife Katrina L. Pettner (Rock); his son Michael W. Pettner of Hagerstown, MD; his stepsons, Clinton Bender of St. Thomas and Chad Bender of Carlisle, PA; his grandsons, Keith, Timmy, Garrett and Lincoln; and his siblings, Stephen Pettner, Jr. (Melissa) of Jacksonville, NC, Karen Pettner of State Line, Donald Pettner of Hagerstown, MD and Randy Pettner (Leigh) of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
