He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. "Ike" Eckert and Martha R. Shoap Eckert; and his brother Larry R. Eckert. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Starr Eckert; his siblings, Lois Eckert Johns and Terry Eckert; his sons, Alan Eckert (Julie) and Mark Eckert (Tricia); his grandchildren, Janelle Costolo (Brad), Joel Eckert, Jordan Eckert, Noah Eckert and Caleb Eckert; and his great grandchildren, Christian Finkbeiner, Gage Feldman and Lacey Eckert.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Zion Covenant Church.
