He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel J. Mickey and Hazel M. Mickey (Pennell); his brothers, Jack L. Mickey and Robert Mickey; and his sister-in-law Wilma B. Mickey (Shatzer).

He is survived by: his son Todd L. Mickey (Barbara Dyer) of Liberty Boro, PA; his grandchildren, Dylan and Breanna Mickey; his great grandchildren, Amari and Charlotte Bowens; his sister-in-law Loretta N. Mickey (Davis) of Chambersburg; and his nephews, Dwight L. Mickey of Chambersburg, Timothy Mickey of Chambersburg and Craig Mickey of Indiana.
