He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Mitchell, Sr. and Mildred D. Mitchell (Fouke). He is survived by: his wife Nancy C. Mitchell (Stunkard); his children, Lisa Stepler (Jeff) of Chambersburg, PA and Andrew Mitchell (Lisa) of Chambersburg, PA; his grandson Derek Walters of Arlington, VA; and his sister Sue Bowders (Bill) of Waynesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
